"While the industry eagerly awaits Intel’s announcement of their latest FSB800 chipset, Albatron Technology is already ahead of the game with the announcement of a new FSB800 mainboard – the Anniversary Edition ‘PX845PEV-800’. This board is capable of reaching its FSB800 mark by employing Albatron’s trademark overclocking technology. The PC gamer will marvel at its unprecedented performance and enjoy the added novelty of owning Albatron’s first ever limited edition mainboard celebrating Albatron’s successful first year in the industry.

The PX845PEV-800’s look is befitting of its anniversary occasion. It comes in a classy black PCB with ‘Anniversary Special Edition’ and Albatron President’s signature both plated onto the face of the board in a sleek metallic print. The Anniversary Edition is also bundled with a 4 channel Sound Card for high quality stereo audio. This collector’s item will be announced formally at an anniversary cocktail party on Feb. 14, 2003.

This feature packed mainboard includes the Intel® 845PE chipset capable of overclocking to FSB800. Overclocking has been shown to increase bandwidth up to 50% compared to the board’s original default setting (FSB533 MHz). Albatron has gone to great lengths in order to ensure system stability at these high speeds. This board is equipped with the highest quality OS-CON™ Capacitors with the lowest ESR which controls the CPU’s voltage stability. In addition, the PX845PEV-800’s pure copper heat-sinks and high-speed cooling LED Fan provides the Northbridge with one of the most efficient heat dissipation alternatives on the market. Furthermore, memory can also be overclocked to DDR400 reaching 3.2 GB/s transfer rates, a phenomenal increase over DDR333 memory at 600 MB/s. Finally, with Intel®’s latest CPU and Windows XP, comes the new Hyper-Threading Technology.

The Albatron PX845PEV-800 supports the Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor, Socket 478 with FSB 400/533/800MHz (800 MHz capable with overclocking), 3 DDR333/400 memory sockets, 5 PCI slots, 1 AGP Slot, 6 USB 2.0/1.1 ports (4 by bracket and cable). It also contains a built-in the highest quality 3COM 10/100 Mbps LAN Chip.

Albatron Technology has designed this Mainboard with easy-to-tune and easy-to-overclock features. The purpose was to come out with a new breed of Mainboards suited to overclocking, satisfying the insatiable demands of computer gamers. This Mainboard comes with the “Watch Dog Timer” which senses when a system hang has occurred and then automatically resets the default BIOS configurations allowing the system to reboot again, a. handy feature when experimenting with overclocking configurations. With the PX845PEV-800, Albatron engineers have enhanced overclocking configurability by providing users with a wide range of configurable voltage settings for the CPU (1.1V~1.85V, 0.25 increments), the DDR (2.5V, 2.6V, 2.7V, 2.8V), and the AGP (1.5V~1.6V). Overclocking has never been so easy.

The Anniversary Edition PX845PEV-800 ushers in a new phase of ultra fast technology and leads the way for the next generation of FSB800 Mainboards. Albatron Technology is committed to staying in the forefront and pushing the limits to provide the market with the fastest performing IT solutions available...
